Paul Elliot, CFA, Founder and CEO

More than 40 years of Asset Management Experience. Before founding ELCO Management, Paul served as Senior Research Analyst, Portfolio Manager, and Partner at Cowen & Co. for 20 years. He prides himself on client relationship and service and creating niche financial products that adhere to his value investing philosophy. Paul graduated from Brooklyn College and received his MBA from City College. Paul Elliot is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Daniel Tulis, CFA, Senior Chief Investment Officer

More than 40 years of Asset Management and Security Analysis experience. Dan served as Senior Managing Director at Bank of America, S. Barney & Shearson Lehman. Ranked as an All Star Sell-Side Analyst for 10 years by Institutional Investor Magazine (#1 in 1994). He enjoys uncovering longer term trends and investing in companies whose value has not yet been recognized by the market. Dan graduated from Antioch College and received his MBA from NYU. Dan Tulis is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

James Elliot, CFA Portfolio Manager

More than 20 Years Research and Portfolio Management Experience. James served as Portfolio Manager and Trader for Cowen Asset Management where he managed a $1 Billion Large Cap Core Portfolio. He structures and manages the overall risk of the portfolio through his multi-sector expertise and position sizing. James graduated from University of Pennsylvania and received his MBA from NYU Stern. James Elliot is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Ron Geffen, Portfolio Manager

More than 30 years Asset Management experience. Ron served as Portfolio Manager for the Burnham Fund, a diversified large cap equity fund. He structures his client’s portfolio’s utilizing common and preferred equity, fixed income, and derivatives. His focus is on providing diversified growth and strategic income. Ron received both his undergraduate and MBA degrees from NYU Stern.

Paul Doran, Portfolio Manager and Trader

More than 15 years Portfolio Management, Research, and Trading experience. Paul served and research analyst for UBS Securities. He focuses on cultivating new relationships with clients and creating strategies that suit their needs. Paul graduated from Providence College.

Mayra Santos, Operations Manager

Mayra has extensive experience in client relations and operations management. She first joined ELCO Management Co., LLC as Client Associate in 2001. During this time, Mayra also served as Registered Sales Assistant at Dominick & Dominick, LLC from 2001-2004. She later joined Burnham Asset Management as Investment Administrator from 2004-2016. She now serves full time as Investment/Compliance Administrator and Operations Manager at ELCO.

Rosa F. Sarmiento, Controller

More than 10 years of corporate accounting experience of a mid-size boutique asset management. Oversee & manage the day-to-day finance operations and procedures including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and maintain controls over all accounting transactions, as well as a myriad of involvements in general office management and Human Resources.

Yves Siegel, CFA Senior Portfolio Manager

Siegel Asset Management Partners is a subadvisor of ELCO Management Company, LLC. In a joint effort, they will launch new investment strategies in energy infrastructure and renewable energy. From 2012 through June 2020, Yves was a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager in Neuberger Berman’s Private Asset Management group where he successfully launched and managed a $250 million infrastructure income strategy with a 7-year track record. In addition, Yves was a senior portfolio manager for a multi-billion midstream strategy in the U.S. and Japan. Prior to joining Neuberger Berman, he was a Managing Director and Senior Equity Analyst at Credit Suisse and established the firm’s leading sell-side MLP/Natural Gas Pipeline research franchise. Previously, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager at a New York-based multi-strategy hedge fund focused on MLPs and was a Managing Director and Senior Analyst at Wachovia Securities, where he built and led a seven-member sell-side research team during his 10-year tenure. Yves also was the senior member of Smith Barney’s Institutional Investor-ranked energy team that provided research for natural gas pipeline and distribution companies, MLPs, and oilfield services, and held a senior analyst position at Lehman Brothers. Yves is the recipient of the 2018 “Ammys” Hall of Fame award in Research and Analysis, an honor recognizing excellence and contributions to the North American infrastructure sector. He has presented at several energy and MLP-related regulatory and industry panels and contributed to mainstream media including CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times. Yves received both a BA and an MBA from New York University and has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is also an adjunct lecturer at Baruch College teaching classes in Financial Statement Analysis and Behavioral Finance.

Matthew J. Diserio, President and Co-Founder

Mr. Diserio has spent over three decades in long/short fund management, securities analysis, and sales. Before co-founding Water Asset Management LLC, he was portfolio manager of Schafer Cullen Small Cap LP and of Diserio Partners LP. Prior to that, Mr. Diserio was a general partner and portfolio manager at Water Street Capital. He spent the previous 12 years as a senior equity analyst covering Special Situations at PaineWebber and in institutional equities sales at Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette.  Mr. Diserio graduated from Bowdoin College in 1981.

Deane D. Disque, CIO and Co-Founder

Mr. Deane has spent the past two decades in the water industry with a focus on water resources, infrastructure development and general water investing. Prior to co-founding Water Asset Management LLC, he co-founded and held senior management positions as the President of Layne Water Development & Storage (a joint venture with Layne Christensen Company: LAYN:NASD) and as Senior Vice President of Vidler Water Company (a subsidiary of Pico Holdings: PICO:NASD). In 2011, Mr. Deane joined the Board of Advisors of the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions at Duke University. Mr. Deane began his professional career with Lazard in Paris and in London. Mr. Deane graduated from Duke University in 1982 and from I.N.S.E.A.D in 1985.

Marc. H Robert, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Robert has spent over 30 years in the equity investment industry. Prior to joining Water Asset Management LLC, he was a managing director at Morgan Stanley and head of U.S. equity research sales. Mr. Robert managed 95 salespeople in 10 international offices, selling equity research, capital markets products, prime brokerage services, derivatives, and swaps to 500 institutional accounts. While at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Robert was a member of the Equity Capital Commitment Committee, North American Equity Management Committee, and the Equity Research Stock Selection Committee. Prior to that, Mr. Robert spent 15 years in Europe (London and Paris) as an institutional salesperson for both U.S. and European equities at Morgan Stanley and PaineWebber. Mr. Robert graduated from Brown University in 1982.

Anton V. Schutz, Senior Portfolio Manager

Anton Schutz joined RMB Capital in 2014 and has been in the investment and risk management business since 1986, focusing on investment and portfolio management. Anton founded his own investment firm in 1996 with a long/short and event-driven investment strategy focused exclusively on the financial services sector. Previously, he worked at RBC Dain Rauscher with an institutional sales trading role in the financial institutions group. Anton also spent 10 years at Chase Manhattan Bank, where he structured investment products utilizing hedge funds and also developed and applied financial risk strategies. Anton is often interviewed regarding his expertise in the financial services sector. He appears regularly as a guest on CNBC and Bloomberg, and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, The New York Times, Financial Times, Business Week, Investors’ Business Daily, Smart Money, and others. Anton obtained an M.B.A. from Fordham University in 1988 and graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in 1986.
